A slightly more challenging and beautiful cycling route will offer you some truly stunning views of nature and diverse terrain. The area around Bi\u010dje will impress you with its varied surroundings, offering views of meadows, forests, and the solitary hill of Gorica (382m), while nearby villages boast prehistoric tumuli, Roman tombs, and remnants of a Roman road.<\/p>\n\n

Continuing on, the route will also take you past Tabor above Cerovo<\/a>, one of the few anti-Ottoman forts in Slovenia that has survived to this day. Built at the end of the 15th century on a vantage point, it offers views towards Grosuplje and the Kamnik-Savinja Alps in the background. A short descent will bring you to \u017dupanova jama (\u017dupanova cave)<\/a>, the beauty of the Dolenjska Karst world, whose stalactite decorations will enchant you. Both attractions are worth a visit, and you can check the schedules at www.visitgrosuplje.si.<\/a><\/p>\n\n

The cycling route is intended for cyclists who have already covered some kilometres. Some extra endurance will be required on the climbs from \u0160t. Jurij to Velike Lipljene or in the opposite direction from Kobiljek to Cerovo. You can choose the direction of the route based on the major ascent. For less resilient cyclists, we recommend the opposite direction so that the ascent is made on a 12% gradient and on a forest road (Ponova vas\u2013Velike Lipljene), while the descent runs on a 15% gradient and a heavily trafficked road (Velike Lipljene\u2013\u0160t. Jurij).<\/p>\n\n
