The Slovenian part of the E-6, stretching from the Drava River to the Adriatic Sea, was renamed in memory of forestry engineer Milan Ciglar after his death. <br\/><br\/>Ciglar, a great nature enthusiast and an advocate for establishing educational forest trails in Slovenia, played a key role in this initiative. Initially, the trail was planned from Radlje to Kastav above Rijeka, but today it extends to the Slovenian Adriatic coast in two variants.
