In 2004, the project \u2018Grosuplje \u2013 City of Sculptures\u2018 was initiated. During a sculpture symposium near Bo\u0161tanj Castle, renowned sculptors gathered to create stone sculptures. After the symposium, all the sculptures were exhibited in selected locations around Grosuplje and ceremonially presented to its citizens. Over three years, 19 sculptures were created, now adorning the city of Grosuplje and its surroundings.
