A very challenging cycling route with a beautiful view of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, which leads us along the beautiful Radensko polje and through higher-lying places.

The route mostly runs along the main road, which is not congested with traffic and is therefore popular with cyclists.

The easy flat route alternates between more challenging ascents and pleasant descents and is never boring. Most cyclists visit it in the summer, as a large part of the route runs through the forest and throuhigher-lyinging places, where the temperatures are significantly lower than in the valley.

    BEGINNING OF THE ROUTE

We start our journey at the parking lot next to the train and bus station, or from in front of the driving school on the other side of the road, from where we take the main road to the right to the intersection where we turn towards Krka or Dobrepolje.

At the next intersection, at the JOST hotel interiors, turn left and drive along the plain, from which the view of Polževo opens up to Veliki Mlačevo. Here we can turn right towards Boštanj, where we can see the ruins of the Boštanj castle, the church of St. Martin and Radensko polje.

We, however, prefer to continue along the low elevation past Lobček and Plešivica, from where we descend to Luč. At the intersection where the road to Ilova Gora branches off to the right, there is a NOB monument.
